A refined Danish mid-century modern armchair designed by Erik Kirkegaard, Model EK48. Characterised by its sculptural teak frame, gently curved armrests and carefully considered proportions, the chair exemplifies the understated elegance and craftsmanship of Danish furniture design during the mid-20th century. The warm tones and natural grain of the teak are complemented by a newly upholstered seat in high-quality leather, providing both comfort and a sophisticated contrast to the wood. The chair remains in excellent vintage condition, with only light traces of use visible on the reverse of the backrest.
