Iconic C18 Shaker table designed by Børge Mogensen for FDB Møbler, Denmark, 1947. Produced on 67/6/2. This simple and elegant design has a perfect balance of clean lines, impeccable material choices and subtly sculpted details. Inspired by Shaker craftsmanship and uplifted by Danish elegance and balance. Frame crafted in solid oak held together by brass hardware. Table top has a solid oak edging and a oak veneer finish on top and bottom. A beautiful example of Danish modern design, combining practicality with enduring elegance. In good vintage condition with a dark patina and some signs of age and use consistent with its history. Two veneer damages and repairs show in images.
