Adjustable Copper Billiard Pendant Lamp, Denmark, 1960s A Danish pendant lamp from the 1960s, designed for use above a billiard or dining table. The shade is made of copper with a warm, natural patina, and the lamp is height-adjustable by means of its ratchet system. The simple conical form of the shade is balanced by the practical mechanism, combining utility with understated elegance. With its rich material and functional design, the lamp captures the character of mid-century Danish lighting, where everyday objects were refined into timeless pieces. Very similar to the Billiard lamp designed by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen and the 'kegle' lamps of Bent Karlby. As were the star details used by Karlby for lamp designs for Lyfa.
