Striking ceramic pendant lamp designed by Aksel Christensen for Marco Stentøj Keramik in the 1970s. A smaller ceramic studio and artist from Denmark, possible a unique piece. The lamp is composed of stacked ceramic squares arranged in a subtly askew, tiered formation, giving it a dynamic sculptural presence. The surface features pierced circular openings that allow light to pass through, casting a warm, patterned glow. Finished in a rustic glaze typical of Danish studio ceramics of the period, the lamp reflects both artisanal craftsmanship and architectural form. A rare and visually engaging piece, ideal for adding texture and atmosphere to interiors. Marked by the maker on the underside.
