A set of four quarter-sawn oak dining chairs by Henning Kjaernulf. They still have their original wool upholstery in traditional Danish Olmerdug fabric. Amazing wood selection and grain details. The chairs were designed in the 1960s and are ascribed to Henning Kjaernulf, Denmark. This model is lesser known compared to other models from Kjaernulf. However it combines the perfect mix of traditional materials and decorative style in a modern and elegant shape in my opinion. A much lighter and elegant design.
Wear consistent with age and use. Frames are very solid. Two of the four chairs have some lights staining on the wool.
